Alex is an Indian Administrative Services officer of Chhattisgarh State Cadre. He is currently the Joint Secretary, Department of Electronics & Information Technology, and the CEO of Chhattisgarh Infotech Promotion Society. As CEO, he leads Chhattisgarh's adoption of technology to improve governance and the delivery of services to citizens. Alex has received national recognition for several of his initiatives, including a school management application now implemented in three states and a midday meal online monitoring system to improve the efficiency and accuracy of government-distributed meals to students.
