Santiago has been in intense contact with the field of social exclusion and cultural minorities since 1984, first as a volunteer and, since 1994 as a professional. In 2012, he founded the Acolle Diversities Association, for social inclusion, the cultural recognition and full citizenship of immigrants, refugees and others minorities and vulnerable people. The Association currently contributes to the improvement of the quality of life of more than six hundred people in Vigo. Acolle Diversities is part of Red Acoge, in which Santiago leads the secretariat of its Board of Directors. Santiago is a sociologist, Expert in Local Development and social inclusion policies.Meet the Fellows
