Course Description
Businesses of all sizes have a role to play in reducing poverty and inequality. Achieving more equitable economic opportunities and prosperity requires a more systemic focus on serving the needs of low-income and marginalized communities.
This short course will focus on customers, workforce, supply chain, and governance and ownership—four components of the inclusive business framework developed by EY and Acumen. You will hear first hand advice from business leaders who have reimagined these operative business elements to prioritize inclusion of low-income and marginalized people. By exploring these case studies and completing a stakeholder analysis, you will identify opportunities to drive social change through your own business operations.
*Note: This course consists of 1.5 hours of videos/readings and 1.5 hours of reflections/application.
